- Customers: Real estate developers, builders, and property owners who contract with Clay for use of our platform (“Customers”).
- Customer Users: Individuals employed or contracted by our Customers who access the Clay platform, such as leasing agents, sales staff, and marketing teams.
- Website Visitors: Individuals who visit our marketing website (https://launchclay.com).
- End Users: Prospective renters, homebuyers, or others who interact with Clay’s embedded platform (e.g., through a 3D walkthrough, chatbot, or lead form).
Important: Clay collects data from End Users as a service provider to our Customers. The Customer is the data controller, and Clay processes this data on their behalf. End Users should refer to the privacy policies of the relevant Customer (e.g., builder or property manager) for more information on how their data is used.

We collect Personal Information that relates to or can identify an individual, either directly or indirectly. We collect this data from:

- Name, email address, phone number
- Employer/company affiliation
- Account login information
- Messages sent via support or chatbot
- Submitted lead forms
b. Information Collected Automatically:
- IP address, browser type, operating system
- Device identifiers and configuration
- Platform usage behavior (clicks, navigation, selections)
- Chatbot interactions
c. Information Collected on Behalf of Customers:
Lead form submissions and behavioral tracking data associated with End Users are collected and processed strictly on behalf of our Customers.

We use Personal Information to:
- Provide, maintain, and secure the Clay platform
- Support user access and authentication
- Respond to inquiries and provide support
- Deliver insights and analytics to Customers
- Improve user experience through behavioral data

- Facilitate communication with Customer Users and End Users
- Enforce terms and fulfill contractual obligations
- Develop and improve our platform, features, and services
We may also de-identify and aggregate data for internal use, which no longer identifies individuals and may be used for product optimization or research.

- Customers: When End Users submit information through embedded tools (e.g., lead forms), we share that information with the appropriate Customer managing the project.
- Service Providers: Infrastructure, analytics, CRM, communication, and hosting providers, under agreements that require confidentiality and proper handling of Personal Information.
- Legal or Regulatory Authorities: As required by law, subpoena, or to protect legal rights or investigate violations.
- In Business Transactions: In the event of a merger, acquisition, restructuring, or asset sale.
- Internal Uses: Within Clay and affiliated entities to support service delivery and compliance.
We do not sell Personal Information or share it for third-party marketing or cross-context behavioral advertising.

The Clay Service is not intended for individuals under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect Personal Information from children. If you believe we have done so inadvertently, please contact us immediately.
